HFLA…I am writing this letter of appreciation to this amazing resource, to say ‘Thank You’ Many in ‘Our’ community know me, and thankfully, because of your financial help, many more will GET to know me. When ‘The Covid’ began in late February, early March, I was immediately concerned for the future and sustainability of our little business. This is, literally, my life blood and my sole means of income. Because I had borrowed from HFLA several years ago, I decided to reach out to you and see if there was an opportunity to do so again. I spoke with Mireille, who instantly assuaged my embarrassment, my insecurities, and said to me, “You never need to feel embarrassed to ask your community for help, there is no shame in this at all”. Mireille made the process very easy for me to begin and I feel like I made a friend in a lonely space of time. Thanks, Mireille. Thankfully, with the proper Guarantor, I was able to receive a response of approval and granted my loan within 48 hours. It is imperative that you all know how grateful I am and that because of your assistance I will effectively remain in business! We are so very thankful for HFLA. In this crazy, unknown, unpredictable time in our lives, knowing there is such a resource is priceless. Knowing people in our community are here to help is wonderful. Lessons learned in this time: faith, humility, gratitude, trust, generosity…and I still got it in the kitchen! LOL! Thanks so much and may Hashem continue to keep you safe, well, and protected.
